About Us

Michael graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2006 with his B.S. in Political Science and minor in Business Administration. He received his J.D. at the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2009. After graduation, Michael returned to his hometown of Gettysburg where he joined his family’s law firm and began his career in the title industry. In 2013, Michael acquired Edmunds County Abstract Company in Ipswich. While he currently still resides in Gettysburg with his wife, Carla, and four children, Quinn, Leah, Brooks and Kendra, Michael enjoys traveling to the offices in Ipswich and Aberdeen to meet with clients and oversee business operations.

Carly attended San Jose State University for a Bachelors Degree in Biology. She has extensive experience as a corporate executive for numerous tech companies throughout her career, including Apple, Yelp and DoorDash. She lives in Gettysburg with her husband, Michael, and four children they share, Quinn, Leah, Brooks and Kendra. When she isn’t busy helping with the day to day business operations and marketing, Carly enjoys traveling with her family.

Marie and her husband, Steve, have lived in Aberdeen since 1993 and have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. Her hometown is Bristol, South Dakota where she graduated high school and later continued her education at Northern State University where she received her Associates Degree in Administrative Systems.  Marie has worked in the title insurance industry since 2000 and obtained her abstractor license in 2014.  Marie’s primary duties include title examining and preparation of title commitments and final policies.

Carolee is a graduate from Bowdle High School.  Carolee and her husband Bryan both grew up in Edmunds County and still call it their home, along with their son Dylan.  Carolee started out as a receptionist at a local real estate office which later turned into working in the title and banking industry.  My main goal is to assist in making a closing transaction go as smoothly as possible for all parties involved.
